
Governor Mai Mala Will Support The People Of Yobe State To Reduce The Pain Of Removal Of Fuel Subsidy The Governor of Yobe State, Honorable Mai Mala Buni CON, has confirmed the distribution of subsidies to the people of the state to ease the pain of removing fuel subsidies.
The governor said that they will look into the possibility of providing support to farmers, traders, transportation, food and other daily needs of the people.
“The government is very concerned about the difficult situation the people have gone through as a result of the withdrawal of oil subsidies and we will look at the most serious aspects to provide support to our people”.
“We will look at the appropriate ways to help in transportation within and outside the cities and other daily needs for our people.
“Also, the government will try to provide transport vehicles for students at a low price to make it easier for them”, said Governor Buni.
The governor also called on the community to continue to support the government as usual in order to continue and maintain the development projects being conducted in the state.
Last week, Governor Buni attended the meeting of the Nigerian Governors and the Economic Council, where the federal and state governments discussed the effects of the removal of oil subsidies.
